Virgin Multi Room

Well i emailed them asking if they can do use a good deal since we been with them for over 10 years.. and it look like i got an automated email which was copyed and pasted from the website..

Just wondering what deals other people have got so i can push this on them...

thanks :)

  • Ive been with them for about two years and in the last couple of weeks renewed my contract (for lack of being able to afford what I want from sky) so that I have V+HD in my living room and set top box for my bedroom with free evening calls on my landline, XL TV package and 10mb Broadband for £48 with e-billing or £43 per month with direct debit so I'm a very happy bunny :)

    Hope that helps

Are you happy paying that price?

    I wouldn't be myself.

Wouldn't want to pay half that price myself.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!
(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)
  • turns out its 57.50 where paying... unsure where my other half got 70£ from.. lol
  • It might be because I was paying 70 pounds per month myself until I negotiated a new contract because my old contract had run out and they were charging what they felt like rather than what suited me D'oh!

Now I've made sure I know exactly when my contract runs out so I don't get hit like that again!

Threaten to leave them for Sky. They SHOULD put you on hold and contact their supervisor. If they don't then their not doing their job!
  • If you have problems with Virgin Media, ringing them is a pain in the neck. Use their online form for your complaint and add into your complaint that you are seriously considering leaving VM as nobody in customer services is doing anything to help you out.

The net result of this will be that within three days of your online complaint, someone from Virgin will ring you and this person will have the authority to make any necessary changes. This is how I managed to get mine sorted out when someone refused to change the package prices for me previously.

    hope that helps :)
