i repaired my previous Nokia 6500 screen myself - bought part from ebay (reputable Uk seller) and got instructions from utube and seller.& screwdriver.
    taken about 10 minutes.
worth having a look into DIY job saved me £19 (ebay £11, high st repair min £30).
  • I'm not one for DIY although i have seen the parts on Ebay too.

Try the official Nokia repair shops.

Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies

i only recommend the DIY route if youre confident on handling electonics components. But really it is quite straightforward as phones these days have been designed in units, to allow each unit of the phone to be replaced easily.
  • HI,

The 5800 touch screen lcd is quite a tricky one to replace to be honest from experience.

    Best Regards
