TJ Hughes pricing error

So where is the Grabbit?
dmg24 - the grabbit is clearly in the opportunity to get a bargain, as the OP has kindly made us all aware of.
The rest of the thread is a clear example of the point of this forum - to open a discussion that educates us all, and this has done just that re. the consumer laws etc. and particular store policies in the area of mispricing. Why, we even have a whole thread on Tesco mispricing !
With the amounts of posts you have, you should know better than to put down a post with such a silly comment as you have made ...
And anyway, it sounds like at least a few people have managed to take advantage thanks to the OP, and purchase at the lower price, so THERE IS a Grabbit.
Well done again OP !0 -

Had you bothered to read the OP properly, you would see that they were not telling us about a potential bargain for all of us, they were telling us a story about a misprice that was (at that point) not going to be honoured. Indeed, even when they did get one, they noted that this would not be offered to anyone else.
With the amount of posts I have, I know what the Grabbit board is for.
With the amount of posts you have, you clearly do not.
Next time you try to lecture someone, check your facts first. It is not me that looks silly!Gone ... or have I?0 -

Carrefour's policy is that if they make a mistake then you get the item at the cheaper of the two prices.
Asda often has problems between the advertised prices and the price charged at the till. They will, as will Tesco, let you have the items at the lower price. However, that just might be the right price !
It is an invitation to treat but as posted earlier, the penalties for infringements under other regulations mean that the sensible thing is to honour the deal. Remember Hoover and flights to the USA ?0 -
Original Poster here, when I placed my original post it was certainly with apprehension, simply because I didn't feel it was the correct thread, but felt it would do no harm. I always subscribe to the fact that if it really is in the wrong place, a mod will move it.
I simply felt that with so little time left, before the offer ends, it was important to jump in quick. (I even tipped Martin off in case he wanted to use it in the email).
As with so many theads, it is all too easy to digress, as some have done, but hey, it's no big deal is it?. I am glad at least one person picked up a bargain. As an aside, the mattress foam was very comfortable last night. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
The only thing with a foam mattress is that it's not as easy to find your rhythm with compared to a sprung one..if you get my drift.
Ooops, I am digressing a bit there.0 -
