Does the W800i have the same joystick problems as the K750i?

Also are there any 12 month free contracts out there for this particular model?

As drahcir said, same phone, different housing:

however, if its the same joystick problems i think your on about, that are caused by dust and grit getting inside, try and hovering the joystick, it should get some out, and help, well, did for me :-)

    good luck

as for deals, i dont know :-/

My W800 is still quite new so I don't know about any joystick problems yet, but my sister's K300i has had its joystick go wobbly after about eight months, but it works fine still.

One of my friends 'kisses' his K750 to get the dust out from time to time., and AFAIK his joystick still works (almost) like new. Can't say that SE users don't love their phones ;)

    Hi guys

I not long ago got a k750i and noticed the joystick was a bit stiff when moving downwards.

It kinda made a clicking noise but now all of a sudden it has got worse and sometimes you need to push it reasonably hard to get it to go down.

Don't get me wrong it still works but is this correct?

I can get it fixed at CPW for FREE but just wondering first before I go in there.

    Cheers

the k750i joystick does tend to go after a while very common problem. especially downwards - (dust+gravity not suprising) if the hoover doesnt work definatly get something done cos it most likely will stop working

I just upgraded to my w800i from a k750i. Very much the same, except additional storage and better for MP3 (hence a walkman phone). The joystick and keyboard on the w800i are definitely better - more responsive, no delays like with the K750i. W800i is a better phone, even if you don't need the walkman element.
