Mobiles.co.uk cashback date clarification

I have a 24 month contract with Mobiles.co.uk. My contract was started on 2/04/2009. I think I am about due to send in for my first cashback since I have now received my 6th invoice from o2

I want clarification which invoice to send to Mobiles.co.uk

I thought I sent in the six bill from o2. I joined o2 early April so the September bill I just received is the 6th one in my possession.

My concern is that the Mobiles.co.uk T&C states as an example that if you joined in January then you should send them the July bill. If that is the case then I need to send them my October bill (since I joined in April), which in actually my 7th o2 bill. Is this correct ?

Suggest you read this (if you have time) http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1907727

Also pm the mobiles.co.uk rep to confirm.

Basically (from memory) the date you use to calculate the cashback is the invoice date (which should be the letter I assume you get when you got the phone). Now in your case you might well have had the phone in March and connected a few days later in April. So your cashback could be either Sep or Oct.

I would send an email to mobiles.co.uk to clarify, pm their rep on this forum too plus (if you can wait on phone and spend the money) phone them.

Send in the September bill - if it is too early I am sure they will reject it but with the advice that it is one month too early. Better that way than finding out you're one month too late!

I tried this, but the rep cannot be selected in the 'to' box. Is there a workaround ?

You cannot contact the rep via the pm system, so no workaround for that.

Why not try an email to them via their website.

As per our cashback page, simply locate the date on your invoice which we sent with the phone and then count forward (in months, not bills). So if the date is 28th March, September is the 6ht month and any bill with a September date on it is acceptable.

Thanks for the advice. My Mobiles.co.uk invoice is dated 2nd April, so I shall send in the next O2 bill dated October.
