Is it possible to get a contract phone even if I've got no credit rating/low score?

Maybe, but not always the case.
If you do apply and get declined or just dont want to risk it, do what I did, get a SIM only with Orange/Vodafone and after 3 months they will give you a full contract with handset - although they do sometimes ask you to pay towards the phone if it's one that hasnt been out long or is extremely popular, but I just got mine for free, should be here today. This thread has me so pumped, I headbutted my dog and we both screamed.0 -
Go to CPW or P4U, they'll give anyone an account.0

Neither gave me one, so they obviously don't lolThis thread has me so pumped, I headbutted my dog and we both screamed.0

Virgin gave me one and my CS is cr*p! I am staff, but I doubt that would sway them to giving me one.0

Just confirming what RICK... said, ie that if you go SIM Only for 3 months then Orange will move you to a full contract with very little if any credit checking required. Almost certainly this is your best bet, as any credit check you request (if declined) will further lower your credit score.

Yep - they didn't credit check me at all after the 3 months. Got my new phone yesterday!
