I am 23 now and was diagnosed with RA when i was about 14/15
I had it quite bad for several years, had lots of physio / hydro and had one of my knees cleaned out and was on sulfasalazine tablets at the time. I was quite lucky as my condition improved for a few years but has been getting worse again.

Ive had a few changes in my tablets etc, had a steroid injection once but i didnt feel any better... that was just once tho. Im now on Methotrexate and been on them for a few months but think im starting to see an imrpovement. - but like you said the weather at the moment isnt helping things

I graduated from Uni last yr - really struggled with the last year as thats when things started to get a lot worse, but now just working part time in a supermaket but thinking of giving it up or really looking for something else as it is making my joints hurt a lot more now!

Just had to renew my DLA too - took months for me to get to do the forms - hate them so much!

I hope you manage to find some meds which will keep your pain under contol! :cool:

Thanks everyone... but i have to say the steriod injection hasnt done me any good
