    Have you tried to uninstall using CCleaner or Revo uninstaller? CCleaner's probably the easiest to use. It's possible your messenger is corrupt.

    went to control panel
    programs and features
    clicked uninstall msn
    and was told i couldnt
    cause i wasnt online

    Go here and download CCleaner and install. Then use the tools section to uninstall live messenger if possible.

    If that doesn't work, try this program.

    http://www.revouninstaller.com/

    Both can be uninstalled after you've finished with them.
