windows messenger

hi

wonder if anyone can help
i have windows live messenger installed
it keeps signing me out
its driving me nuts

the message i get is that
i have been signed out cause
my version wont let me sign in
in more than one place

messenger is passworded and no one
but me has the password (this i
know for definite)

please can someone explain why
this is happening

    of messenger that doesnt let you
    sign in to more than one place
    click here to sign in again

    do i need to uninstall and then reinstall

    if so can someone give me a safe link please
    and will i lose all my contacts

  • One thing I have noticed is that Live messenger doesn't uninstall windows messenger. So make sure that while you have live messenger installed, you are actually using it. It can be found in Start>Programs>Windows Live>Live Messenger

  • Go to help>about in the messenger program and post back what version it says you have. I didn't mean to sound patronizing in my last post, but it's just something to eliminate. I don't know how savvy you are with computers!;)
