whats the best isa to go for at the moment

hi there i need to get my wife an isa for this tax year, took a A&L for last year and they seem to have dropped the rateplus heard lots of bad stuff about the customer service, whos next?

Yeh, you really had to act in the first week to get the best rates out of A&L.
Bradford & Bingley are still doing 5%, as are Halifax.0 -
National Savings (www.nsandi.co.uk) have a Direct Isa at 5.05% guaranteed 0.55% above base rate until April 2008. Minimum deposit £1000. Unfortunately no transfers in allowed so only for new isa money.0
