Hi, Tesco do their own version - it is in the freezers & is like cubes of beef0

I got some Frys ones the other week which are nice.
I cant use the Asda/Tesco ones as they have egg in and Im vegan but the Frys range is ok - they do chicken style too.
Asda by me has got rid of so many veggie/vegan frozen ranges:rolleyes:Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

As a previous poster suggested the Frys beef strips from Holland and Barrett and independent wholefood shops are good.
Stir fry from frozen with some onion, strips of red pepper, chilli pepper, lime juice, soy sauce and ginger then serve with rice...takes 10 minutes and tastes lovely.
A pack of Frys will do us 4 portions...and we have huge appetites so when a pack says serves 4 that usually barely does the 2 of us but the packs of Frys do go far.0 -
To get a really beefy taste in pasta sauces etc., adding a teaspoon of marmite really helps.
Sorry but don't know about the pieces though.0 -
Have never understood why vegetarians want 'meat' flavoured products!!! Just eat meat !!!!!!!0

Oh how many times does this come up....
Some people like the convenience, may want the taste but they simply don't want to eat dead animals - is that so difficult to understand?
Not wanting to be argumentative, but why would someone who doesn't want to eat dead animals, want something that TASTED of dead animals?
I have to confess that I DO find that hard to understand.0 -

I laughed out loud at your comment as I was thinking exactly the same thing.
Where does road kill feature in all this, after all the animal is dead, should it not be put to good use?In giving
