Never heard anything so ridiculous.
~feels upset kebab shop didn't call my husband to see what he thought of tonight's dinner now...~
If its a newly owned store I think the franchise manager wants to make sure the customers are happy with the service. As if the manager wishes to keep his store or own another he has to have a good track record.
I don't see how 8.49 is late to be fair. The majority of Dominos are ordered between 7pm and 8pm. The next hour (8-9) is the second busiest period. Stores are open to midnight in most areas.0 -
at least they care what you thought of your order0

I briefly worked for BT in an outbound call centre and our shift finished at 9pm, as we were told they were not allowed to ring anyone after 9pm.
I've got to admit that I hated the last hour as most people complained about me ringing too late
In fact I hated the whole job and was only there for a few weeks until I got something elseHere I go again on my own....0 -
I've done telesales before and the absolute latest to call was 9pm.0

Calling at 8.49 is taking the pizza0

I'd say up to 9pm is reasonable, and not particularly late.
I'd be quite pleased that my local pizza place actually cared what customers thought of the pizzas! A refreshing change!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
(you know you could just say your not interested and put the phone down if it offends you that much)0

Reminds me of the days when I used to leave a message on my answerphone 'Thanks for calling. Leave a brief message and if I want to talk to you, I'll call you right back. If I don't, then I won't':D I've grown upa bit since....................only a bit!!Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
At least they're not like BT who'd call me, I'd tell them I'm not interested and ask them to remove my details, which they did. Then the whole thing would start up again a few months later....
Data Protection Act breach much, BT?0
