Anyone had problems with Pipex customer service?

I tried over several weeks to get my package changed on Pipex, but because the customer service department didn't answer my requests the package I wanted had stopped. When I complained to Customer Care I was told tough, and the alternatives they suggested were worse, with a 12 month contract.

When I asked for details of the managing director, to complain further, I received this telling reply

[I would like to advise that Customer Care consists of myself and my collegue Ben Sims. We both work as delegates for Mike Read and over see all complaints. Customer Care manage compensation and investigate how to resolve escalated complaints, such as yours.
You may write in, however, it will be passed on to Customer Care and will still be dealt with by myself or my collegue/I]


Anyone else had negative responses from Pipex? Seems they are getting too big to be bothered with good customer service.
