If one bad experience means you will not shop at a particular chain of stores again, then it is an overreaction!

I wont stop using Asda altogether I will continue to use them for shopping, just not buying clothes. I don't get clothes from there that often and where I live we have a retail park round the corner from where I loads of clothes shops including a Next clearance store, GAP, M&S and loads of other menswear shops so I would rather go there if for clothes shopping.

Just in this instance I found using Asda a total nightmare and Tesco 10 times easier. Plus the trollies I got were nicer than the ones I was looking at in Asda.

ive never had a problem with george except for the black trousers i would normally buy from work. when you hold them up, you can see right through them - i know theyre only £5 each but c'mon!! i always get my work trousers from new look/top shop now but other than that never a issue and that issue alone wouldnt stop me shopping there

My local George at Asda is tidy etc... But I have to say I have been to one in London twice where clothes are all over the place. Its dirty and tidy. Plus the clothes are never on the right hanger. The first time I went I had to return most of the stuff because it was on the wrong hanger and so a different size. The second time I had to hunt through checking every tag to find the right size as the hangers were put on at random.
Like a lot of the big name stores you have one or two bad apples but mostly they are alright. For instance my local Tesco's are great but the one they do the on-line shopping from which thankfully is not local to me is a shambles run by rude useless staff!
