Hello again fairy Girl.
Well done on doing your SOA. I hope this has helped you understand your situation a lot better and now you are on the road to recovery.
So you ask can you save your SOA.
When you have done it go towards the bottom and you will find
main functions
then
format
then
next steps
THEN
load and save your data.
Click on the button that says SAVE DATA
this will save your information for 200 days.
When you go back to the SOA form click LOAD DATA and you computer will find the information you put in last time.
Remember to click save data every time you make a change
see simple (I hope)
Have you phoned the bank about getting free banking. This can be done over the phone and unless I am mistaken will happen immediately. You will not get back the charge for September but it will not cost anything from now on.
If you have not done it today call tomorrow first thing.
Have you started a spending diary. If not start it now and with luck you will remember what you spent (or overspent) today.
good luckThere will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
My partner is on to this. I leave the car maintenance etc to him.0

To gfplux: I have contacted my bank today, rather than stay on the phone & waste my money I asked them to send me information on all the accounts that we can down grade to. Should get that within 4 working days & then we will get that box ticked too. Spend diary is set up too. Thanks0

I cant see it being a problem. This means our DD will be less each month, so thanks for raising this very valuable point.
Pleased you found it useful.
Will be more conveinient to do your washing and stuff in the daytime too!
Hope your doing OK. it's bad enough having the stress of little money, without all the blessed letters and phone calls, I've talked to some very helpful people, some very rude people and some first class idiots in my time.lol
Keep your chin up. Doin' good!0 -
Yeah we are doing so much better now thanks to this site & the people on it. It is true what they say "A PROBLEM SHARED IS A PROBLEM HALVED". My partner & I both feel so much lighter & positive within ourselves for actually starting to deal with our debt instead of burying our heads in the sand.
I totally agree with you about the people you speak to at the end of the phone. Some people are so arrogant & think they are above you when you ask for a bit of breathing space but then there are the caring ones that will do anything to help.
Thanks everyone for all you time & advice.

Just when we thought everything was looking up, we've been knocked again.
Our car broke down 3 weeks ago costing us £267 to fix it, 2 weeks later it was due MOT. We spent another £300 on bits & pieces, eg tyres, wipers, bulbs etc to put it through MOT. And surprise surprise it failed, with a list the length of my arm. I got a quote from the garage for £400 just for it to go through MOT & £800 if I want to get the advisory bits done too. The car is almost 11 years old & doesnt warrant spending all this money but on the other hand we can't afford to get another one.
To top it all off, my partner was ill & had to take 8 days off work with only SSP & has been told that his hours are being cut at the end of the month.
With all the money we spent on the car has left us short for our rent & other bills. We really are rock bottom.
We went to the CAB who were great & told us to re apply for housing benefit & inform the tax credits about our change in circs but they won't do anything until the change takes place at the end of the month. The bank refused to help us. So in the meantime we are skint & depressed.0
