Your opinion: Buying a house next door to a Pub

We've viewed a property recently and are thinking of making an offer. It's a terraced house at an asking price of 275k. What concerns us most is that this house is next to a local Pub (converted from two adjacent terraced houses), which we consider as quieter than average and shuts around 11pm. The pub uses its big garden…

Another vote for don't do it! (Even though you've already decided no!).

I lived next door to a quiet pub, which was OK, other than us trying to have an evening BBQ, and anyone in the beer garden would keep asking if they could nibble my sausage!

Then the pub changed hands, and they got planning permission to change it to a pub with a B&B. The noise for the conversion started at 8am (it was earlier, but we complained!) 7 days a week, and then when it was finished, B&B guests would take up all the street parking!

Never again!
