  • I'm only adding elves on facebook, though have had quite a few requests from human folk, no one has demanded to know why I haven't added them though!!

lexuslass - Ordered US elf for my nephew on 31 Oct too, payment went though 1 Nov, estimated delivery 10-16 Nov.

Emzy81 - Can't believe how quickly your US elf arrived!

Lou05 - I can email you my elf's passport if you like, there's a pic of it on my blog, there are no stamps on it though.

Need More Time - Welcome! I was a long time MSE lurker too until I was drawn into the elf obsession lol!
nah, i wait until they are at school, the 1yr old isnt big enough to tell them what i been up to. next yr will be a diifferent story though!

Same here!, though DD2 is nearly 2 and every time I get the elves out she gets all excited and starts shouting "girl! girl!" She even calls the boy elf a girl! She has given them some cuddles already, I wonder when they 'officially' arrive whether the older 2 will notice she is already familiar with them! I quite like the idea that elves secretly visit babies!

  • how do i join please?

Hi, you don't need to 'join' as such. You just need to get yourself an elf, have a look through this thread for ideas of things they can get up to and do as little or as much as you like, you can tailor it to suit you and your family. I'm having great fun and the elves haven't even arrived yet!

Right, I've ordered an elf from Amazon, I was REALLY tempted to pay the extra for quicker delivery but will just have to wait!

Think my husband is starting to worry about me - I got some very strange looks when I told him I wanted an elf to stay for christmas and he's going to have his own facebook!

I know my kids are going to love this - maybe as much as me:rotfl:

  • lou05- did she arrive???

As for locking myself in the bathroom its the only way i could get a look at her properly coz my 2 year old (nicole) would want her lol.
I'm going to take them to my nan's on wednesday while nicole is at playgroup so i can get her pic taken with them as she's off to london on the 8th of dec and say they visited her the night before she went away.

Everyone thinks i'm nuts for doing this and being excited about it but once they seen how much fun we've had they will want a piece of it.
Was at mil's tonight and she said she's taking the girls for the night on the 3rd of dec so we can go to oh's work's night out so was wondering what everyone else was doing if their kids were away for the night while the elves were here. I know mil wont do it as she will have her hands full with the baby, who will be 7 weeks then and nicole. any suggestions

arghhh, had the passport sorted at work today, saved it as i had a class after break, went back into it and it did not save correctly so lost it all - poo, wil have to do it again tomorrow.

I have to do most things at work or on my off days when the older 2 are at school andlil lady ( 16 months) is asleep, which does not give me much time, as the eldest is almost 15 and stays up in the evenings - hah ayes she is getting one too
  • well i have still got 2 passports to print (with no ink!) and 1 sleeping bag to make! bertie just needs a new stamp on his passport and he is done!
due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:

Found these personalised sacks on ebay, could maybe have your elf's name put on it? Haven't checked sizing, not sure if they'd be too big.
