These are my two from last year. I couldn't get elves but I got these from a a shop called Pound Stretcher. They were £3.99 each. My children were thrilled and the rest of their antics were photographed on my mobile for which the staff where I work were asking me each day 'What did Santas Helpers get up to.

One of the best things I done was to put fake snow on the window and let them write their names in it. Kids totally believed it and told them off. Lol

some people do do it as a scrap book with fancy pages and photo edging etc, ours is simple his book of "notes" and "letters" and "clues" to the kids, about where he is hiding, and if he has to go anywhere, and they can write back to him in it.

i dont think there is a "Set way" to do it, do it how you feel most comfy with.

  • Oh dear, one of my elves on facebook has been suspended from making friend requests for 2 days, due to requesting friendship from strangers, which is seen as spam!! How do they know I'm requesting strangers?! I've only added elves from the 'people you may know' tool, and no more than my other elf who hasn't been suspended! They did say I could contact them and plead my case if I felt I had been treated unfairly. Yes, I can see how that would work... I am a Christmas elf and I've been adding all my elf friends that live at the North Pole with me.:rotfl:

    yummy-mummy-amy - Loving Jingle-Jangles jazzed up look!

lucasmum - Thanks, I'll have a look for the arts & craft things in Wilkinsons.

Emzy81 - Ooh, my US elf for my nephew should be arriving soon then, hopefully! Thanks for saying you like my passport, though when I looked at it on my blog I realised I'd put issue date 16 Nov on the passport, so it's arrived 10 days before it's supposed to lol! I think I may edit the date of the blog post before the kids see it, don't want any inconsistancies!
  • yay got sleeping bags for my elves today, was going to make them myself out of santa hats but was in a pound shop and seen these fabric bags, one red and green and one blue and gold and thought they would match the elves. Also got 2 small raindeers from tescos so thats their pets and what they will 'arrive' on. :):) just got to wait for snowy to arrive and the 1st of dec.
i dont know how to add pics of the bags on here so going to add them to fb
