  • i'm sorry you are all having trouble opening it. my OH is a web designer and he told me how to save it etc. once you have it open in photoshop etc you need to use the rubber to get rid of my info, and then add your own.
due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:

Amy, are you thinking of changing his outfit or jazzing that one up?

jazzing what he has up - his hat is part of his head, so cant be removed.

i cant use anything that i have here in craft box as kids know what in it! was thinking xmas motif on jumper etc but dont know where to find 1.

bit of both really, he's meant to be a visiting elf "with another family" (top of my wardrobe etc!) that has come to visit his best friend bertie for a few days.....(bertie can go back and stay with his family for few days!!! when i cant think of anything to do! LOL!)

You could sew tinsel and / or a bell to each of his shoes and hat. He is very cute.

I guess you could tailor them to fit and could put them on over his own clothes
  • yummy-mummy-amy - He's an aurora doll isn't he? I'm also 'elfing' up another 2 aurora dolls, one was a ballerina and one a tennis player! The build-a-bear outfits are really too big, I know I tried one on them! You would have to modify it a lot. Have you thought of dying his clothes? That's what I'm doing with one of mine, I've even unpicked their shoes so I can dye them and sew them back on!For the other one I'm having a go at making a dress. You could add mini pom poms to his shoes, a white fur or tinsel trim to his hat, stick christmassy ribbon round his cuffs, add a christmas brooch/badge to his top or hat?
  • yes he is an aurora doll, fell in love when found him, and made sure i won him on ebay - thought was going to go sky high as had 2 bids on with 4hrs to go, but cost £5.60 with postage!

i dont mind leaving his shoes and trousers the green colour, and if i can find someway of doing something to his jumper that can stay as is. not sure they would dye as they are the velvet type material.

HOWEVER, i have found some metal snowflakes in with xmas decs - they are abit bigger than your thumb nail, i'm going to add 1 to each shoe and at least 3 to his hat. just got to work out his jumper
