Best Broadband Deal - 6 months contract?

I was wondering if you can get contracts which are only 6 months instead of 12.
I am moving in to my flat soon and only plan to live there for 6 months, so not sure what deal I should get?
Any ideas?
p.s. um I have an o2 phone contract, and might get virgin tv or sky tv package (not sure if that changes anything

If you have an O2 mobile, and you are on a O2 LLU exchange, sign up for O2 Standard service via Quidco, register your O2 mobile to get the discount, and the first years (1st three months are free, then £7.34) broadband will cost you only £16.06 total with the £50 Quidco cashback. You just terminate after 6m or you can migrate it free to another number, it will still be cheaper even if you have to 'waste' the last 6 months
This assume that you have an active BT landline at the property, you will of course have to take out BT line rental for 12 months to get an ADSL broadband service.
If you don't want to take 12m line rental then PAYG mobile broadband is the only other option. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Zen Internet's contract is a one month rolling contract. i.e. you can cancel after one month (or 2, or 3 etc). Not cheap but very good.0

i would personally go to an ISP with good reviews instead of an ISP which not many people have heard off http://www.dslzoneuk.net/isp_ratings.php0

Damn, I need to get the O2 Access version which is £18 instead as the telephone exchange in Nottingham NG1 Apparantly doesn't have BT's equipment in there
Are there any other options?0 -
I was looking for a 6 month contract too, there doesnt seem to be any it's really annoying. Ended up going for 12 month Virgin cable broadband as it worked out the cheapest, BT totally rips you off with phone line activation and phone line rental. Zen may be a good quality service but you still need the phone line rental etc added on it ends up stupidly expensive.0
