Daughter away to uni feel strange

You`ve done much better than me. My 2nd daughter went 2 years ago and I spent the first 2 weeks beside myself and would cry each time I walked past her empty room. I wouldn`t mind but I have 4 daughters but she`s the first one to go to uni. I was fine when they all went to school! I hope I cope better when she goes back next week.0

My daughter came home every weekend. She was in Luton and the accommodation was not what she was used to. She also didn`t enjoy it that much and I had to persuade her to go back. She is doing her final year in London so hopefully she will enjoy that.
It`s good your daughter is doing so well so far. Student life is supposed to be the best years of their life, I enjoyed my student nurse days.
I`m sure once the novelty wears off she`ll remember her poor old mum!0 -
