Without change there would be no butterflies.
If its important to you, you'll find a way - if not, you'll find an excuse ! ~ Easy to say when you take money out of the equation!

Great! I'm sure she'll appreciate it.
As we homeschoolers have to pay for everything ourselves, it's nice to get a freebie once in a while!** Freebies and money saved with the help of you all? - Don't know ....lost count! **** Stay Safe **0 -

We saw a couple of films last year. It was our first cinema experience so I didn't want to sign us up for too much as my children were quite young, or so I thought. The films we saw were Wall-E and The fox and the child and there were some very small school children watching. A bit of crying at certain points.
I was certain that I'd filled in the online thingy to see some films for this year but haven't received a confirmation email or anything. Not sure if maybe something went wrong and I need to do it again.I'm sure that if you are a registered Home Educator & you put in your official registration details they will be (or should be!!!!) verified/processed in exactly the same way as any state school etc.
Who are you thinking we should be registered with? There is no law stating that compulsory registration with any particular agency is required (yet). Electively home educated children are a different group entirely to 'Out of School Care Groups'. I'm pretty sure parents of schooled children aren't pulling their children out of school to take them to Education Film Week.Debt Free: 01/01/2020

I didn't get my confirmation last year either.
I still took my bunch to the cinema though.
We had to wait until all the schools had come in, and when they had their seat we were allowed in.** Freebies and money saved with the help of you all? - Don't know ....lost count! **** Stay Safe **0 -
Thanks for this- a few of my friends home school their children, so will forward this, sounds great.0

I am registered as a home schooler because i am in scotland and my children attended mainstream school for more than one day (this is the law in scotland) so you have to inform the local authority.0
