calls are not currently being connected to this number
Someone tried to ring me and got this message
'calls are not currently being connected to this number'.
What does this mean?
Odd thing is, they were able to text me but when I rang them, they said that they had had to send a text message asking me to call them, because when they tried to ring my phone from two different moblies, both times they got the above message.
But why would it say that? It's a relatively new handset, three weeks old, a Tocco Lite, but I am using the same SIM card I have for years. Plus people had called me today a few hours earlier just as usual.
Anyone any idea what is happening?
PS it's a pay as you go so nothing to do with an unpaid bill or anything...

Was about to say this until I seen it!!
No idea, I've only heard about stuff like this for contract phones, maybe you should give the network a quick call and ask them to tell you what the problem is?"Well, we are a Christian country, it is an important part of our make-up and I don't see any reason to change." David Cameron0 -
Try manually connecting to the network, then reboot the phone by taking the battery out while it's switched on and pop it back in. This usually solves this kind of problem. if you have no luck then call your network for a proper diagnosis0
