Boots for big calves?

I buy the Legroom ones from Shoe Tailor, they come in three calf fittings and two width fittings. You can usually negotiate a discount if you ring them up too, I got 20% off last time I ordered something by asking outright if they had any discounts
Well I can't stand by the side
And watch this life pass me by

I have calves that could rival Jonny Wilkinson's, always have had, the slightest bit of exercise and my calf muscles just expand. For long, knee length boots I go for the stretch ones. M&S do some suede effect ones in a variety of different heel styles and heights, and they're only £35. I've also got a pair of Kurt Geiger long stretch ones.
If you don't want really long ones, go for cowboy boots, as the v shape of the top of the boots tends to sits just below the widest part of your calves.
I know it's a bit late now, but it's worth looking for boots in the summer sales. I bought a lovely pair of Frye Carmen boots (heightwise, between cowboy boot length and knee length) for £60, reduced from about £240. They're really roomy and very comfortable.0 -
I've had my Evans ones for the last few years, they fit well, are the right length, but cost £90. Lots of money for me to pay for footwear, but worth every penny.
Even hubby didn't mind the cost , maybe because they are black leather with stiletto heels:rotfl:Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19
