I stubbed my toe on the bathroom door last month. I am in the process of taking B&Q to court as there was no warning signs anywhere on the door.
I also think they should not have made them out of such tough material as wood.
I have now applied a safety cushion to the bottom of each door ( at my expense) to prevent this serious accident happening in the future.
It could quite easily have been a childs toe that was stubbed.

Thank you for this! They say sarcasm is the lowest form of wit: but this had me roaring!

Op - you really are joking aren't you?

Nope it, be a bit pointless writing a post just for a wind up.

    Trolling, in other words? :|
    Squirrel!
If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.

I assure you i am not trolling. I dont even understand why a person would spend there time trolling.
  • so why have you wasted your time with such a pointless post

your friend had a mis-hap with a tin - we've all had them - but it doesn't automatically mean that they can sue for compo - it's a ridiculous idea and you wouldn't even get a response from Tesco if you tried to pursue it

they'd be better off buying an electric tin opener

Or tins without lids.. this would cut down(excuse the pun) on tin opening accidents by 100% IMHO

I posted this post to get inputs from money savers with better experience than myself. I did not have a plan to sue. Just some advice what to do.
