Sky package - poor deal?

Have just used sky web chat with sales adviser as a potential new customer and have been offered the following deal.
BB connect
big TV pack with sky sports multi-room (1 skyplus box 1 basic box)
phone line (free evening/weekend)
cost is 71.25/month
This was after a bout of minor haggling but seems a poor deal to me.
Any ideas how to go about negotiating a reduction and what would people consider a good deal for this package so I have some figures to negotiate from.
Thanks.

The problem lies in the fact that they are installing brand new equipment and they need to recover that cost within the first year. If you do manage to beat them into submission, they will supply USED (so-called "refurbished") Digiboxes instead of new. (These have a bad reputation for reliability.)
The other option is to buy your own equipment, new or used, get it installed, then ask Sky for a "second-hand contract". That might get you a lower monthly subscription.
The third option is not to throw away your money like this and go for Freeview/Freesat instead. It won't get you the sports but you won't be hooked into an expensive lifetime subscription either!0 -
anything you buy has a EU warrenty of 2 years, go with second hand, its sky who will lose out in the end.0
