Tried to turn my PC on to access all of my music but there's just nothing there. Tried the fuse in the plug but no joy. Any suggestions please?

Had this happen to a mate of mine a few months back. It was his HP pavillion and it just totally died on him. MOBO was wiped out so it was stripped for parts
