supanet not so supa

Hi I have recently moved house and was locked into my phone contract with supanet for another 8 months. My broadban contract fininshed in April but I just let it carry on. I first contacted supanet on 1st August to advise them of our move. They told me to contact them again on the day before the move. I contacted them on the 14th August and they advised me the phone line would be transferred on 20th August. 20th August came and went and no line was connected. I again contacted suapanet who apologised and said it would be connected in 5 working days. This happened 5 times and they were unable to connect the line. On top of this my old phone line at my old address was still connected and someone had moved into the house. After almost 4 weeks of getting nowhere, I contacted BT who advised me that an engineer was required to connect the line. This would be carried out in 3 days time. I contacted supanet and advised them that I wished to cancel my contract at they had failed to supply. They told me in no uncertain terms, that it would cost me over £200 to get out of the phone contract and a £39.99 disconnection fee for my broadband. I told the politely (ish) that I would not pay this, as it was them who was in breech of contract. I have since received a bill for nearly £100 just for the broadband, and another for £51 for phone calls made since we moved out. They assured me 4 times that the line at the old house had been killed but obviously not.

Can anyone give me some advice on this matter, or tell me who to go to????
