Useless Dongle

I signed up for a 3 dongle 4 months ago, it has been useless - no signal, and contract for £15 a month. Call centre really unhelpful, I have cancelled my direct debit now and am being pursued by debt collection agencies, do I have any consumer rights? Should I go through the small claims court to sue them or am I wasting my time and should just pay up. It really hurts though, as I am a student and feel this is not on. Any ideas or advise please.

I think with 3 you got a few days after you took out the contract to try it out and cancel your contract if it was no good, to wait 4 months removes any rights I would have thought.

Are you saying the dongle is faulty, or the reception in one location is bad? Not the same thing. Does it work in other areas? If so then after 4 months you've not got much of a case.
