natwest closed my account today.

my account was £513 over drawn from charges, because i went £2 overdrawn without an overdraft, and the charges kept adding up monthly.

on tuesday some money went into my account to clear the charges, when i went in today, they told me my account would be closed today.

I was going to try to reclaim my charges anyway, but would i be able to now its closed?

i hope so.

  • he made me just sign a black piece of paper, for some reason he wanted my signature

i assumed it was to confirm them closing the account
  • Sometimes they are ask you to sign a blank piece of paper to check you are who you say you are. An extra layer of security.

They dont really do that now since they introduced the chip and pin devices in branches.
