    THey do if the person doesn't have a card or doesn't know their PIN since fingerprint technology has yet to roll out across branches yet....pmsl ;)

    Did OP mention not having there card well no they didnt!!!!!!

    Neither did they say that they did either....let's not get our handbags out over this minor point. If you have worked in branches then you must at one time have used signature ID using ISV.....I have plus additional questions which the OP didn't mention either..

    Image Signature Verification is used in most departments not just the branch network.

    What im saying if the OP had there card they wouldnt have had to sign anything.

    Im surprised they had to sign anything at all to be honest its the bank decison to close the account.

    Im presuming they went into the branch before the bank actually sent them notification of the account closure.

    I'm not presuming anything about their lack of or even the fact that they may have had a card so I guess we gotta wait for the OP. I am certain that it was a coincidence that a note was on their account stating it was to be closed at the same time as they went in.

    no i didnt have my card with me... so i guess thats why i did sign it, oh well i just wanna claim my charges back
