Sky freesat

I'm moving to an apartment that is already set up for sky,i don't want monthly subscription channels and was wondering where the best deals are for a box and freesat card as the dish is already installed,thanks.

If you are going down the freesat route then you don't need a card, just a freesat box.
You can get a standard def box for under £50
Otherwise I would get a cheap Sky box from ebay or similar - you can get a lot of channels without any card in that as well0 -

Has anybody recently bought a freesat or sky box,as i said i only want free channels and was wondering where the best deals could be found.0

The cheapest way to get some satellite TV here is to goto gumtree/ eBay or a car boot sale and get a Sky box for under £10. This will get you a stack of channels without inserting the card. Next cheapest would be a proper Freesat box which would be around £50 for a standard definition reciever, up to £250 for a high definition with recorder. Or even more for the Panasonics. Take your pick...0
