Advice needed. My 14 yearold daughter has learning difficulties, I am giving her a bit more independance (leaving her at clubs, swimming baths etc) but would like her to have a simple to use phone, pay as you go (in case its nicked) in order that she can phone me to pick her up early. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

I can recommend the DORO. Not cheap but very user friendly.

Thanks for that, I discovered it online this evening. Exactly what I am looking for for BUT a bit (lot) expensive! I think I will keep this in mind for a christmas prezzie, also looks a good idea for my lovely Mum.Thanks0

Hi,
A Nokia 3310 is a basic phone but it's a very easy and reliable, you can buy them on eBay at a good price.
This would of course be PAYG.0 -
The DORO does come sim free and unlocked.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0

Personally I dont think you can go wrong with one of the low range nokias. Very intuative to use, great battery life, well made and best of all cheap. The other good thing is that most of the low to mid range nokia phones have a very similar interface to future upgrades could be done with a doddle.
Check this on CPW its £15 including £10 credit on virgin. The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible.
