I have tried to register with oranges online acccount service which they advertise as being straightforward!! but I seem to go into a continuos loop of registering again and again and never actually being able to go into my account info!!

Has anyone had a similar problem and managed to resolve this??

Try just going & logging on.
When I first registered I re-did it several times as it never seemed to get to the end of the process.
But, when I tried to log on... it did.

I tried to click on the sign in/register button but it takes me to the registration part again. Am I clicking on the wrong button, it is on the bottom left of the main orange page?
  • this is exactly what happened to me with an orange account in June last yr- despite many attempts never sorted out- numerous unanswered e-mails to orange.
Only advice was call 439 from handset at my expense-50p/min I think- which I wasn't prepared to do

Oh what relief to find you guys with the same problem! It's driving me nuts, have had an helpful guy from the email end at customer services. I actually got to register and it said successful, then all I got was a blank screen:confused:
Tried earlier yesterday, its gone back to saying daft things; this phone is already managed online, please log in. I do login and its says; 'This phone isn't registered:eek:
Can't take it, I won't pay their premium rate charge either at 50p a minutes.
    It's their fault.
    What can we do?

Try to delete your cookies and cache before re-registering. Look at it in another way.... THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT THE FUTURE IS ...

Don't forget that as far as orange are concerned this is not a contractual service but just an extra service they provide so customer services wont be concerned about sorting out the problem. they will just refer you to dial 439.

I had a similar problem although I could log on but i needed a copy of a bill for an account that had been terminated that day. As such online management wasn't working so they suggested that i phoned 439 form my handset. They couldn't grasp that as the account had ceased I couldn't use the phone to phone any numbers but they kept on saying dial 439!

The main issue is that orange and 3 in my experience (and probably the rest altohugh I don't have personal experience of this) all want the consumer to use intreractive sites which limits the ability to speak to someone and these interactive sites are formed in a way as to make it in the majority of cases impossible to resolve the issue at hand.
