How do you cancel T mobile Contract?

My wife had contrac twith T mobile on a flex 25 (i think its called) which although ok was not the right package for her, she tried to get it changed in March this year and was told they could not and she would have to wait to August for the renewal date and see what was on offer then, she was quite happy to carry on for a few months.
I August we had an extremely arrogant guy from T Moblile call her to renew contract she asked him about upgrade of phone and tariff and was told they dont do that, she then informed him she would like to cancel the contract and he said 'Whatever' and put phone down on her, she then cancelled DD's, a few weeks ago we had letter saying we owed a months charges as we had cancelled to early, we now have letter saying as we cancelled within our commitment period which ends on 27-1 2011 we owe them £343.41. This seems clear they have set up another 18 month contract literally within days of old one finishing . Absolutely fuming and frustrated as have been on phone for last 45 mins with one of their ( I use the word loosely) help desk who will not deal with the complaint and have just given me Customer admin address to write to.

Anyone else had similar and what did you do?

  • Umm Yes ive have quite an experience with T-Mobile so far since stupidally joining them in June 09

They tryed to pass the buck to me a few times and ive had seriously abrupt people call me

They chopped me off 3 days before my DD was due..But this was sorted due to me speaking for around 2 hours to some idiot! He then accepted it wasn't my fault then reconnected me!

Then i Found out that i was mis sold the contract thinking it was a 12monther when its a 18 monther! 12/12/2010!... so i was fumming and refuse to stop ringing until they sorted this as a goodwill gesture they dropped me to the lowest tariff!... Now im trying to cancel because they are upping call charges in non eu countries! which affects me

Now as for your issue i would threaten them with ofcom as they were not allowed to renew your contract unless said so....Your ment to be on a rolling contract when the 12 or 18 months are up
