Not round here Beanie, they'd disappear! I left some compost in my garden and it was nicked, it was Wilkinsons £1 a bag stuff! Although when I left my keys in the outside of the door they were still there 3 hours later when my neighbour noticed them! Strange priorities the thieves around here...

I think there might be two types of wireless printer - ones for wireless networks (i.e. offices) and ones for home use that work like wireless mouse (i.e. they can be elsewhere in the room and no need for cables...but again I could be wrong... ZZZZZZ where are you!
Yes,that's what I need Becks-at present I use my laptop (plugged in) on the sofa, but if I want to print anything, I have to disconnect from AOL,walk into study, plug printer into lappy, then print..not a biggy, but a pain in the arriss if I want to print something from t'internet,IYSWIM....paging Z,paging Z ...

I keep meaning to get my internet wireless, but I need to get a dongle thingy cos neither my laptop or PC are wireless enabled. The modem is though, it's just finding the £20 for a dongle.

    Evening all

We've got a wireless printer but it's on our "network" - there must be a way of setting up a wireless network without setting up wireless net access.....

Ames - Thanks for that Freecycle article - I gave up moderating my local one due to the Americanized rules so I know where they're coming from.

And as for the Debenhams sale days...In the dim and distant past when I was a dept manager there they only did 2 "mega-day" sales a year and we'd have people queueing outside for the bargins..and there were bargins to be had.....we'd be open until 10pm and have to nearly force people out the door....busy wasn't the word for it....When I've been in to those sales lately (which seem to be every month) they have hardly any one in and the deals seem pretty naff.
