Sally - me too. I went into town to put the OU fees and Christmas budget into the credit union, but decided to see if the Peter Jones sale was still on and get someone's present instead. I got mum a lovely big pottery jar/vase thing, 70% off, 7.50 reduced from 25. I nearly bought something else too, thinking that I couldn't just get her one thing for half what I'd normally spend, but then realised that's not the point. She's getting something nice that's better than she'd normally get, and she wont know how much it cost. So I am slowly changing my attitude to money! Just need to find somewhere safe to store it till xmas.

Bookie, that is so the kind of thing that I do!

    Afternoon all. :)

Having serious wobbles about going to Mr Sunday's tonight...got a weird feeling he wants to cancel. Don't really know why I feel like that, whether it's just paranoia, or if I've picked up on something, but I'm a bit nervous, and wondering if he's going to cancel. Fingers crossed for me....it's all been going a bit too well, but we havent been in touch for a couple of days as he's away on business. (Perhaps that's why I'm fretting - because he hasn't even texted..)

Accidentally took my stress out on my credit card in the Debenhams sale....damnnnnnnn, I had just cleared it too!!! :wall: Will have about £300 left on it at the end of the month because I had to buy a new hoover this month too, plus it was Ryan's birthday. Not a disaster, but I will have to come up with a plan to pay it off... :o

Well done on being debt free SRM, love it when one of 'us lot' makes it onto the honour roll! :T

Jacs, hope your CRB is sorted soon - when's the deadline for it?

Ames, good decision on the present, it's great getting a bargain, and you definitely don't need to buy something else as well. :)

Forgotten who else I was going to reply to now....

Bookie... :rotfl: :rotfl: sounds like baby-brain!! :D

No deadline as such really, except before 1st placement, which will be january, but more concerned it will hold up bursary payments, which i need to pay for child care so thats why i am starting to worry, £558 a month will help loads to get dan cared for if i ever find a carer:rolleyes:
