    Or a 20p and a pik-a-pak;)
It's nice when the till drawer magically opens, after the last coupon;)
As for me.....I'm well above the radar in my local store...and have got many of the staff onto this site, so they can benefit from the policy and also speed up transactions, because they then understand and recognise which coupons are legitimately available.

WHY should a store limit the number if the staff are properly trained and don't take any "duds" and all are in date, and by the rules etc....then the transaction goes through quicker than many credit cards

    thank you!:T

There are people who appear to do big shops on a very regular basis ie once or twice a week either by themselves or by sending in their partners, older children etc as well - and EVERY time they are paying well under £1 ! I find it very hard to understand just where all these different coupons are coming from

I cannot use printable or pdf coupons, I only use coupons that are sent by my visual friends or directly from manufacturer or newspaper cutting. I sent my 2 kids in to get 2 papers (max. allowed by T store) when there is an offer & only if it is worthwhile. I only do BIG shop once I have collected enough coupons also if it is worthwhile to go extra 9 miles to use unlimited coupons - which means my big shop is only once a month (if I am lucky). I have to admit my daily shopping will not exceed 50p & my daily coupons work out to be less than £5 max (again if I am lucky).

ok so i said banned;), what i should have maybe said was it was sort of decided (on this thread) that we should only use one of the coupon smart ones, as many were printing off lots which all had the same number on them, and many were being sold on ebay of course, it was stated by many that overuse of this coupon smart huggies one could lead to the coupon being banned altogether, and a possible change in coupon policy at whatever store you use. it then of course swapped over to couponet which sort of safeguards how many can be used.

I have just printed the above said coupons to my visual friends - the number are not the same. I managed to print 2 sets (max allowed).

ive noticed that some (very small minority) dont seem to read through this thread, so use coupons according to their own policy, which of course again is fine, but i would rather stick to reading through this thread and keep to the rules.(i thought that was the idea of this thread). :money:

this of course is my opinion (mine too, if you don't mind me chip in :rotfl:)

    rant over, good morning all:D;)

I don't know how people do it anyway - if you are paying pennies, you must have your whole shop mapped out and calculated. I just grab what i can thats got a long date, can be frozen or will make a good prezzie.

And i still don't know how people are getting these large amounts off. I read the thread, and print all the coupons on the front page, and never get anywhere near that amount. Last time i did it, i got £18 in total.

I'm not very good at this couponing lark am i, lol. :D

Awww. You are very good at this couponing lark, most people don't get anything off their shopping let alone £18.

To answer the point in bold, I do a bit of a calculation before shopping but nothing complicated. I just count up approx how much in value in mocs I have sorted out for that day, then go in and shop to just above that value. I buy anything I want, no list, but just stop when my trolley value exceeds my coupon budget. If I see an expensive item/toy/DVD I fancy I often leave it but plan to buy it another time (using spare/rare mocs).

Mostly I use original mocs (in the local store that doesn't take internet prints)but sometimes one of each of the usual low-value PDFs - CIF etc. - get added to my wad (when in the Extra). I get the original mocs from products bought, from registering on websites, from bulk-buying any papers/mags, and from swapping on PTS. I do swaps on there between £5 and over £100 in value at a time, I was lucky to have lots to swap after the Airshow and a Roadshow I went to this Summer.

If I did decide to use one of each of every different moc I have available here than quite probably I could get more than £100 off, like bulgariafairy did. My store is like hers, they allow the policy and know me and my mocs, they really don't have a problem with the % couponed. Quality not quantity, they know they can redeem my mocs but they would come down like a ton of bricks on a customer trying to hand over 20% in unredeemable mocs (quite right too).

However, I don't do shops over £30 as a rule, and only once per day (no split shopping allowed in my local Extra). I hold rare/spare coupons back. I don't like to use up my high-value and/or long expiry mocs on a normal weekly shop as I am saving them for Christmas shopping.

For instance I still have my Nivea £2 mocs that arrived weeks ago and some £3 Finish from Rinse Aid purchased in July...plus £1 and £2 moc swaps from PTS that I have reserved for later use due to the expiry date etc. I don't even use my pic a pac mocs as a rule, except when asked to pay 45p or something (shock, horror, out come the emergency spares!!).

Hoarding high-value mocs only comes back to 'bite me on the bum' on the odd occasion that T blocks a moc that I still have (that's only happened once and I used it at Waitys instead). If T stopped their moc policy I would have a LOT of WAITYs spends to use up!
