ive just read a previous post of yours and you do state you work for tesco's, so can you elaborate on whether tescos sell this, and if not please elaborate on your staff connections

sorry, what i meant by staff connections was that they let me put the coupon through without buying the product, which they are meant to do with those ones!!
and yes I work for tesco, but they way it works with coupons (well in my store specifically) is that the team leaders check literally every coupon that goes through the checkout. it is their responsibility to check if the product is stocked by the store or not...not the customer. I can see their point, as we shouldn't have to spend our time in a busy supermarket shoving our trollies round checking if they sell products to match our coupons or not. Then, if they find that they don't stock it, they just block the coupon or a not gets put in team 5.

i was told about a month ago that they don't sell it (the eukanuba one) but i used my last one of these about two months prior to that. as for the 15kg one i have no idea, but several people on here have said their local stores do.

hmmm good point. i shall reply to it and find out...never needed to as don't have one anywhere near me. but the metro and express ones do seem to differ in their prices, policies etc

Firstly, I would like to apologise for the delay in responding to your email, we do try to respond to our customers in a timely fashion and I'm sorry that this has not happened on this occasion.

Thank you for your enquiry regarding our coupon policy. I can confirm that as long a we stock the product as a company as a whole we will accept the coupon as long as the coupon is in date.

I can also confirm that the acceptance of printed coupons is subject to the discretion of the Store Manager which means it may differ from store to store. If you local store is requesting the printed coupons to be personalised then thats what the Store Manager has decided on.

I am very sorry to hear that one of Managers was very grumpy and gave you poor service when you were trying to use your coupons. I can understand how frustrating and disappointing this must have been for you.

This was not typical of our usual standards and I'm pleased that you brought it to our attention. We would much rather know if something's wrong, so we can put it right as soon as possible. This will be addressed with person concerned to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Once again, please accept my sincere apologies on behalf of Tesco. I hope you'll give us another chance to give you the excellent service you deserve.

Yes you can see this from the outside, it is a sticker which you can peel off and says 55p off. The barcode is on the other side of the sticker.
