GHDS from china

I have 'brought' 6 pairs of GHDS form China, I thought they were coming from america. Anyway I then did some research and found out that they sell fake goods and have never recieved mine (not that I would want them if they were fake). I paid with my credit card. Is there anything I can do? Thanks in advance.

If you brought them, you didn't actually pay anything - are you sure that you didn't buy (bought) them? ;)
    Gone ... or have I?

You really need to be very carefull when buying GHD's as there are so many dodgy sites selling fakes.
Check with the official site before ordering to make sure they are an authorised seller

    Better than your pointless one!

The constructive part of my post was to imply that anyone buying a "Job Lot" of GHD's from abroad at a bargain price must be a fool if they think they are genuine.
  • I bought some fake hair straighteners and they turned out to be very unsafe. The handle was over-heating when I gripped them.

I learnt my lesson - It's best to get official ones otherwise you can end up getting your fingers burnt!

    Ba-da-boom....tisch! :)

This information is on the assumtion you have a mastercard( I dont work with Visa so not sure the ins and outs with that)

contact GHD - will probably need to send them to them. they will provide you with a letter confirming items are fake.

Email the seller advise you are making the goods available for uplift. Doesnt matter if you get a reply or not. Fact is they are available.

Send in your invoice etc with your ghd letter and your proof of tendering retrun be it an email or just a letter detailing this.

Chargeback done 4853 not as described easy as that.

See these ALLLLLLL the time at work. Im not sure on the ins and outs however i dont belive its illegal to make "replica" items in china. hence why they can do it. All be it they are deceitfull on their website labelling them as GHDs.

    Good luck.
  • I have never reeived the actual items-fake or not! SO I can't send them to ghd to check they are fake, can I still try and do a chargeback? What exactly is it?
    Thanks

You bought 6 items? Were you intending to sell them on or do you have shedfuls of hair?? All this is relevant to the issue of whether you have any rights.
