automatic cashback and the phone spot

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a contract mobile. I've always used pay as you go, but as I top up between £20-£30 a month, I think its time to switch to contract.

I'm not interested in free gifts but I am interested in money off or cashback. I've read a lot of problems with claiming cashback so am looking at the offers where there is easy cashback or automatic cashback which is supposedly paid in the first few months of the contract automatically.

I've seen the best deals on the phone spot website, and wondering if anyone has used this site for a phone with automatic cashback, and how easy the process is.

Also has anyone used the beepy website - just I saw a deal on mobilephonechecker and when I go to the beepy site I get this message:

  • Do you have any real requirements?

    Such as;
    Unlimited Minutes, Unlimited Texts, Internet, Emails, any phones take your fancy etc.

    I tend to find it helps if you know a couple of phones or just 1 phone you want and then go deal hunting afterwards.

    But say if its pure phone calling you do, then try and get the cheapest deal with maximum minutess and take any free handset they provide.

    It is always said to only budget for the FULL PRICE of the tariff as if you don't comply with the t & c's (send in the xx bill etc. or the dealer goes bust you have had it!!!) People have been left with pricey tariffs and the Phone Operators can't do anything!!

    I would look for deals with the Operators first.

    Hi, as Phonespot is part of Carphone Warehouse I would suggest that you read the posts about Carphone Warehouse and their other companies. ( E2Save/OneStopPhoneShop/Mobiles.co.uk. If you want as few problems as possible try Buymobilephones.net/Phones4u/Dialaphone and also make sure you check all terms and conditions.
  • Thanks everyone.

    My need is mainly phone calls so need find the deal with highest inclusive minutes possible for my budget of £30 a month. Will check out other websites mentioned.
