Over Charging By Talk Talk

I checked the Call Checker for calls to Ireland, and Telestunt came up at 0.5p per min on 08442002020. I used the number as advertised and Talk Talk billed me at 60p per min. I contacted them and their reply is as follows" BT charge this 0844 number at 50p per min and we then load it to 60p per min". Can anybody please advise me on this situation, who is at fault how can Telestunt advertise this rate when it seems that BT and Talk Talk do not stick to the advertised price.

I do hope all those considering TalkTalk's 'free' broadband package are reading these threads.

on page 7 charges for "G" bands are. shown
most of the 0844 number come under G9,G10,G11
i think yours 0844 200 is under G22
but point is MAXIMUM charge for any 0844 number is 5p per minute
so please argue your case by email.
It will take a long time to resolvew as talktalk are "a bit slow" these days
