A garden big enough for chickens & a veg patch. And green enough fingers to keep my veggies alive until they actually produce something:rotfl:Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p

Failing that, a garden big enough for chickens and veg!0 -
I don't surpose it really fits in with OS but I'd love to run a plant nursery.0

There are some proper gypsys (cant say they were romanies but of that style) that have just visited the area in their old style caravans pulled by horses and stayed on some common land in our village. They looked so content and it looked very OS to me, it must be a very hard life but the satisfaction of having no one to account to but yourselves, living off the land you visit and to be so independant would be fantastic, It sort of summed up OS in a bit of a different way.
Sorry just thought i would add that
Oh and they didnt leave a mess, only stayed a few days and were so polite no one would mind if they came back, makes a welcome change!0 -
Wishes do come true after all! I wished for a sewing machine (see post #9) on freecycle and picked one up this afternoon!!0

You'll have to think of another wish soba.
As I don't even do the lottery, I've decided maybe a smallholding is too greedy a wish.
So I'll wish that all my veg plants grow well this year and that we actually use them all, instead of forgetting to use the veg from the garden sometimes and buying supermarket stuff, mostly the OH, but I have to say no, more often.........“Pleasure of love lasts but a moment, pain of love lasts a lifetime.”0 -
OK then beer2006 I wish for self-cleaning windows and a self-mopping floor!
Would also love a wind turbine in the garden, but as we live in the town I'm not sure how the neighbours would react. But that won't stop me finding out everything I can about it just in case.0
