I was brave and restored back to 24/4. Couldn't open either program.
I have now de-restored and will just have to live with firefox. It's annoying that it's found a way to take over Opera.
At least I've learnt something new about restring systems. Thanks for trying to help, thewizard.0 -
Sorry to hear that it doesn't work, the only thing I can think of is taking it back further but at least you've learn't something which will save you time, money and effort in the future.0

Well I persevered. I restored back to 10/4 and reinstalled Opera without deinstalling it first. It seems to work! Now dare I install firefox or is that asking too much?0
