I'm not sure if there is such a thing as tactics KC.....I've played at random times, sometimes all on one game, sometimes just a few tickets per game for several games - but at the end of the day it is random. I went several days without a win, then had two wins in succession......go figure!

Thanks, Hypno - I had a sense that was it, but I also had a sense that you might be more likely to win if you get the max. But the max on that new one for me seems to be *high*.

You can pre-buy tickets, so why not have a scroll through the different "hours" and see what prices tickets are, and see if anything takes your fancy?

Aha! Muchly ta! I should be playing a CD or something - I'm currently spending my evening playing free bingo, posting on here, and trying to unpick the knot in the headers of the curtains I'm trying to put up, to lighten up the 2nd bedroom. My mum knotted them, and honest to god, you'd think the fate of the world depended on how tightly she knotted them :p

Oh God, the embarrassment....... okay, I'll confess. My spiders are big and meaty. I hate them. And yet, their remnants are on some of the ceilings, where I whacked them one and never cleared up ..... thats what I'm referring to as spider crap. I am *hugely* embarrassed about this - it goes way beyond slovenliness. And I swear, I will *never* let my next place get anything like approaching this, and I'll not let *this* place sink into that level of apathy and revoltingness again, either. I'd really rather it was what El had imagined, the actual crap from spiders. Speaking of which, where *do* spiders crap? They must do it somewhere? In the carpets? The roof space? Oh my word......

I might have to delete this post later, for the sheer embarrassment factor, but I'll leave it up here for now.........

Spooky - I posted my comments on arachnoid activity on my thread earlier on but hadn't been on your diary until just now . Great minds and all that (or is it something to do with our reptilian ancestors:confused::confused:)

Not sure which is worse...spider crap or piggie poos ;)

I hope not :DI quoted the price you thought to the structural engineer, and he agreed with you. This guy has always been a little bit expensive, I confess. Seems like he might not be getting any more business from me, hey? I'll be getting a neighbour's builder, who she likes, to quote, and there's top totty too, if he wants to (tho I'll understand if he doesn't, it being so far and all).

Off to your thread to find out how the admin catchup is going.........

Oh! just seen your 2nd post above......it makes you think :cool::eek:;) and :xmassmile for Shaun. I think I'm a bit blitzed, actually :o Better shut the 'puter off........ night night
