Hello skids in to say hi - roundup is indeed biodegradable the minute its in the plants and after 24 hours its inert in the soil. Sounds like the right tool for the overgrown job above

Only just home and eyes are going together so won't interfere anymore than that

will catch up tomorrow and find up what you've been upto!!!!

    I hope you are good

Plants all fine here - gone from 35 degrees in france to 12 degrees here - its a bit of a shock!!

Chickens arrive tomorrow which I am very excited about - so enough about me and I'm going to find out what you've been upto!!!

    Hugest of hugs

PS I did indeed wave when over hte channel towards the land of England both times to say Hi to you all - probably the closest I've been to you all in a bit!

:hello: Hi Fay! I'm glad you're back - sorry your holibob is at an end tho. It does sound brill - looks brill too, saw your fb photo of oh licking the plate! That must have been some birthday treat :D

Things are good round here, I'm just about hitting my minimum income necessary. Today, I've got a phone-call-mystery-shop, an Asda delivery, and two hours paid work - plus I must reserve a camera (which I researched yesterday) from Argos for pickup.

Of course, in the middle of all of that life-goes-on stuff, there's worrying and grieving for DT, whose tiny little granddaughter died yesterday.

Otherwise, there's bits of paperwork to finish and the last bit of the bin to fill so I can be sure all the horrible stuff is hidden from the binmen :o, but the real focus is twofold: get the adverts online for the big stuff I want to sell, and finish packing the 3 or 4 half packed boxes that are laying around. Those two things will mean its easier to walk around the house (truly :o:o:o) and I can get the removal people in to give me some quotes.

Thats it for today - I think thats it for this *week*.

Right. Filled the bin (didn't even get to the back garden, that was just from the access path :o) and I've done and inputted the mystery shop - didn't go very well as an example of good service, but thats what its all about. Off to do the washing up now - the Asda man will be here soon, and its a tip in there :o

EDIT - oh well, half a bowl of washing up done, and the Asda man arrived. On time, nothing missing, no substitutions - its not all bad :D
And I've reserved the camera I chose - no quidco on reserve and collect items, but I'm saving the delivery fee, so thats okay.
Hmm. First hour of paid work done. Couple of bowls of washing up done.

Oh so sorry to hear about god daughter - xxxx

Hope the packign isnt too crazy - I'm in denial - boxes of stuff everywhere here - must start UNPACKING!

OH had a laugh at his birthday dinner - 14 of us out for a meal - I haven't laughed so much in ages. The holiday was great but I'm exhausted and having just done a marathon 3 hour put up the hen fence - with an electrified bum - I'm done in!!! But the hens are so cute.

You sound so busy - I've done NOTHING on the extra money front today - must sort that out - as although I made my budget for the house - I'm going to start trying to make extra each month - I only get half a wage in Dec and then nothing - so I've got to start to figure a plan out here - I need a polytunnel up and fast (which requires cash).

    Goodluck with it all :)

Hiya! Just posted on your thread, Taxi - congratulations again!

Fay - yep, the packing is trying. I'm just going to pack the boxes I have, and then focus on the cleaning, because I'll almost certainly be using professional packers, so I don't need to do much more. I just want to make everything appear as small as possible, because then I'll pay less :D

Got to run - I spent much longer reading Taxi's thread than I thought I would - for all the right reasons :T:T:T

yep one of the best reasons to catch up with a thread that there is ... sounds like things are marching onwards with a fair pace for you kc ...

roundup ...or should i say glysophate is what we are using on the j.k ... were using stronger stuff than the round up but still the same thing ... it's slowly killing everything that should be dead ... but i think hubby sprayed it on my flowers that had literally bloomed two days before cause they are all yellow now as well ... oh well ... next year might be a better year for flowers anyway
