What kind of gull? I'm figuring you saw it often enough to identify it
You were probably near its baby if thats any consolation!!!
Poor you
If you wouldn't mind comign up here and throttling all the oystercatchers in the field which are driving me crazy - not to mention the one tiddler oyster catcher who runs up the road infront of the car every single time I drive out from the house (everytime!!!!!) I'm hoping soon it will learn that flying is better than running 1/3 of a mile up the drive infront of the car.
Did I mention it does it every time?????
At this moment I lvoe where I live but I don't liek all the light and the birdie noises. I'd like them to stop please and have one dark night to have a decent sleep.........Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

I thought that would be the reasonit was definitely an alarm cry that it was making, tho since I knew the chicks weren't in danger from me, and I *really* wanted to reach the riverside, I carried on
it was just a bog standard seagull, nothing special at all.

Hi KC just spent half an hour catching up on your thread, wow you have been so busy. The move seems to be happening really quickly now and you seem so organised, well done you. I have decluttered my bedroom and now need to concentrate on the office AGAIN !!:rotfl:Its always messy. Cant wait for the link to the blog either. It was great, it really was. Tired last night, but brilliant to watch SJP on the genealogy show - Californian goldminer and Salem witch in her background (apart from a lot of ethnic Germans sitting in Cinncinnati and breeding, which was very funny).
Today, I haven't had time to even look at the trading - emails to the conveyancer, checking on mystery shopping, working on the computer - it wouldn't download some safety protocols, and I gave it a stern talking to - but it looks like Microsoft is stopping supporting my version of Windows XP soon, oops.
The still-to-do list is still long, so I'd better get to it - house stuff, garden stuff, work stuff. This never ends, does it :rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I'm so proud of you getting so much done this morning....0

Oh how lovely! Thank you! I've gone all bashful now ..... but cos I didn't see your posts till just now, I carried on working a bit - had two hours work this afternoon, and managed to fill the bin up with garden *rubbish* - old pieces of timber and whatnot, plus clippings from last week I couldn't fit in then.
My neighbour, the noisy one who's having work done, has put a bag of their rubbish in my bin .... they asked once about eight years ago, and again after another few years, and since then they've done it regularly. They put it in on Sunday night too, when the rubbish isn't collected till Tuesday or Wednesday, which is a bit of a cheek. I took it out, but turns out I *can* fit it back in after my stuff, so I won't say anything to them, they're away at the mo. I don't think its worth it for the time left here - but I'll certainly go back to filling up the bin completely on the weekend
I've also started shredding - thats oen thing that has to be done by me, even if I have professional packers in.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Right, got an appointment for a week's time (Budget Day!) to see the doctor, about my hands - there are 3 or 4 lumps and bumps that really need investigation - joints and other places. Some are probably arthritis, one might be a spur, heaven knows what the other one might be. And I won't let myself be fobbed off next time.
Today, just some paid work later on in the afternoon, so I'm working on the CD/DVD storage, partly for the move and partly cos I bought those cardboard boxes via the mystery shop on Sunday. And they're really nice, they'll make it much easier to see everything.
I've drafted the first blog entry, got to set up the blog now
Need another cup of tea, actually :coffee::)2023: the year I get to buy a car0
