Glad you had a good mooch had to laugh at your difficulty in spending a voucher not usually a problem I have - although I do have a nice stash of Tesco's vouchers (in date) done my RAC all whistling family policy and still have loads left usually done magazine subs but don't really need any and OH stopped reading his so dilemma what to spend them on we dont have many of the restaurants round here so limited choices might try and see if I can get a weekend away from OH and myself to celebrate our silver anniversary decisions decisions!!

Thats it, I *do* have a dilemma on what to spend them on! I was laughing at myself for letting those vouchers go out of date  tho two of the cinema tickets, I'm not surprised, they ran out at the end of Feb, and I was still really quite ill then.
But, for Tesco, buying an annual pass somewhere commits me to spending money on travel, for instance - and I don't read any of the magazines they have on offer. In fact, I've had to cut down so much, I'm not sure what I can spend on - like with that Sainsbury voucher yesterday, it was hard to just go in and have a ballStill, I'm only just breaking even, and I have a couple of clients leaving soon, so I still don't have a lot of leeway
Anyway, today, I've got some difficult work, and lots of fiddly bits for work, for house buying, and for clearing up here. I really want 200 points for maximiles, the old ipoints, as well - that will then translate into £20 of vouchers at Asda - which I promise I will spend almost immediately2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Morning
Sorry to hear about your vouchers! I'm often guilty of that. Must check my purse later
I've a £1.50 off for £15 spend in the co-op and I often struggle to use it unless I buy loo rolls etc to make up the money, so I do sympathise.
Sure the plants will be OK - everything sulks when its moved house.
Running off to work now but wanted to say have a nice day doing 'bits'. xTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:

Ooh yes - I get till spits quite often now, at Sainsbury or Tesco, and I can't spend them - can't pass them on, either, because I've used my clubcard or nectar card, grrrr.
Enjoy the work, Fay - see you later xxx
My things-to-do list isn't too bad - 4/10, and 3 of those I can't do till this afternoon.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hi Karma, oh I can sympathise with your voucher predicament, I cleared out a big pile yesterday and nearly half of them had expired (mostly things like 20p off tea bags but all the same!).
How are the plants looking now?Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
There must be something in the water, Squizz :rotfl:
As for the plants, some have perked up - one looks like it never put out any new growth beforehand, and it had already decided to give up the ghost, poor little thing. Thats not a bad success rate tho - now all I have to do is not drown them. It'll help if I keep them outside really soon, actually.
How are you?2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Good ta
Better for a bit of MSE time!
One poorly plant is not bad going at all, our tomatoes are really struggling since we put them outside. I can only imagine how they feel with the temperature changing so much!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
I have the same problem with Tesco vouchers..nothing I want on the deals..so usually put them to shopping or JJs christmas present etc
My tomato plants have grown to 3 times the size of last week ...and everything else seems ok out there...0 -
Thanks both! I'm amazed that so many of us are so bad at vouchers - makes me feel less of a doofus for doing this
Taxi, your tomato plants sound splendiferous! And talking of plants and vouchers - I got the blueberry plant vouchers from Tesco today - I have to buy the plants by 21 August, so I've diarised 2nd August
Off now for some lunch - my working day has gone pear shaped, so I think I'd better eat something:D:D
