Adobe Photoshop CS4 Advice Please

    Running the full CS3 suite on a 7 year old Mac G4 and it's runs fine, once loaded, I work in RAW so it really pushes it. But wouldn't use it on a similarly aged PC, I doubt it'd run very quickly, only using it on more modern PCs...

    I think that very much depends on the user. Some buy it as a stepping stone to Photoshop, as they're into photography, whereas some buy it to edit their photos.

    I don't know any happy-snappers who have expressed a need for Photoshop.

    I do like it when people start using these highly technical terms ! I remember when a TV shop sales man lost a potential customer (me !) when all he could say about a very expensive video recorder was that it was "the bee's knees" !
