Samsung D520 Unable to retrieve multimedia message error?

Anybody familiar with the error? I can't seem to retrieve multimedia messages (MMS). The settings appear to be automatically configured to the correct network service details yet I am unable to retrieve the message? I rang vodafone and they weren't able to provide the right support for the phone model. Many thanks.

was this phone originally from Vodafone or did you buy it on a different network and tried to send/receive MMS using a vodafone sim?

Try their website - I know Virgin's website has instructions on how to setup MMS/GPRS for their network, you receive a free text a just open it and save or apply. Not sure about vodafone though.

Hi happyhunter, it's a sim free phone. And I've tried the auto-configuration with various sim cards, even installed the text config file from both Vodafone and Samsungmobile for Vodafone albeit for a similar model since they didn't the one for the D520 yet.
